Mod Features

The Wearable Backpacks: RLCraft Edition mod is an adapted version of the popular addon that introduces functional backpacks to Minecraft. Unlike regular containers, these backpacks must be worn by your character to move them and placed on the ground to access their contents.

Key Functions

Backpacks can be dyed in various colors, allowing you to personalize your gaming style. An interesting feature is the ability for other players to open your backpack if they approach you from behind. When your character dies, the backpack doesn't scatter items on the ground but turns into a block, preserving all contents intact.

Differences from the Original

This version was specifically modified for use in the RLCraft modpack and includes several important changes:

Bauble Support: Backpacks can now be placed in the special "Body" slot, allowing you to wear them simultaneously with a full armor set while using one of the bauble slots.

Enhanced Compatibility: The automatic placement of backpacks in water when pressing Shift+RMB has been removed, ensuring proper functionality with mods like SimpleDifficulty.

Boss Arena Protection: Added compatibility with the boss arena protection system from Lycanite's Mobs, preventing backpacks from disappearing when placed in protected areas (feature disabled by default).

Important Note

This version is based on the original copygirl's Wearable Backpacks mod. While it may work outside the RLCraft modpack, there could be compatibility issues with other mods optimized for the original version. It's recommended to use the original mod if you don't require bauble support.
