Configure Minecraft Weather
After installing the mod in the mods folder, start the server or client, and you can modify the configuration file to customize weather conditions in Minecraft.
In the client, an in-game mod configuration editor is available (via Main Menu → Mods → 'WeatherConfig' → Settings OR via Pause Menu → Mod Options... → 'WeatherConfig' → Settings).
How the System Works
The configuration includes 4 pairs of numbers: 2 for rain and 2 for thunderstorms. Each settings pair determines the duration of weather events and the intervals between them.
Each pair contains a constant component '...Cnt' and a random component '...Rnd'. The constant value is always added, while the random number represents the maximum value for the random portion.
The final duration (in game ticks) is calculated as follows:
time = random(RND) + CNT
All these parameters are thoroughly explained within the configuration file itself.
Note: Compatibility with other weather-affecting mods is not guaranteed.
