Mod "What Did You Vote For? 2021 Mob Vote"
Disappointed that your favorite didn't win the Minecraft Live 2021 vote? Now you get a second chance!
This mod brings back all participants of that famous vote - both the Glare and the Copper Golem! Now you can encounter them in your world and enjoy their unique abilities.
Mod Features
The mod adds three mobs from the 2021 vote, each with unique characteristics and mechanics.
The Glare
This amusing mob inhabits forest biomes. To tame the Glare, use sweet berries, and for healing - oak leaves.
A tamed Glare follows you like a loyal pet, but it has a special trait - it hates darkness! When it gets too dark around, the Glare starts grumbling and pointing to dangerous areas where hostile mobs can spawn. A great way to secure your base!
The Allay
These rare creatures inhabit forests. For taming and healing, use cookies.
A tamed Allay becomes your personal item collection assistant! Give it any item, and it will automatically collect all similar items nearby and bring them to you. And Allays love music - they happily deliver items to the nearest note blocks!
The Copper Golem
To create a Copper Golem, you'll need a copper block, a carved pumpkin, and a lightning rod (with Caves And Cliffs Backport mod installed).
Copper Golems wander around the area, but their main passion is pressing buttons! If there's a copper button nearby, the golem will definitely approach and activate it. Over time, golems oxidize, becoming slower until they completely turn into statues. However, a lightning strike or treatment with an axe can reverse this process.
In later versions of the mod, damaged golems can be repaired with copper ingots, protected from oxidation with honeycombs, and even charged with lightning to attack enemies!
Technical Information
IMPORTANT: The mod requires GeckoLib installation for proper operation. Some mob animations may work incorrectly due to limitations of this library.
The mod was created for Minecraft 1.16.5 using Forge 1.16.5-36.2.39 and GeckoLib 1.16.5:3.0.106. It is recommended to use exactly these versions for stable operation.
Note: Mod development is completed, no updates are planned. However, the 2021 vote characters will definitely return in the future.
