What Looms Ahead

The What Looms Ahead mod brings the functionality of the loom from Minecraft versions 1.13+ to the world of 1.12! This block significantly simplifies banner creation, eliminating the need for a crafting table and complex crafting recipes.

Simply place a banner and dye in the loom interface - and a variety of design options will open up before you! The "banner patterns" item from versions 1.13+ is also added, opening up additional creative possibilities.

The mod is fully compatible with custom banner patterns from other mods if they are added to Minecraft's BannerPattern enumeration. All additional patterns will be displayed in the main list, except when the mod developer uses the BannerPatternUtils.addPatternExclusion() method at the preInit stage.
