Why Stacks of 16?

Have you ever wondered why Ender Pearls can only be stacked up to 16, while Ender Eyes can go up to 64? Where did this 16-item limit even come from?

Now all items that previously could only be stacked up to 16 can be combined into stacks of 64 — this applies to both standard Minecraft items and those added by mods.

This is a simple but very convenient improvement that significantly saves inventory space and simplifies storage organization.
