Wildfires

A Module Created Specifically for the "Escape from 2020" Modpack

The Wildfires mod adds unique creatures to the game that appear when the player places a torch in the world. These special creatures do not pose a direct threat to players - instead of attacking, they prefer to run away from the character.

The main feature of these creatures is that they randomly ignite blocks located beneath them. At the same time, there are several ways to interact with them:

If the player manages to defeat such a creature, it drops blaze powder. They can also be instantly extinguished using water or other moisture sources.

The mod offers flexible configuration settings: you can separately configure behavior regarding torches placed on flammable blocks and on non-combustible surfaces. Additionally, configuration of a dimension blacklist is available, where these creatures will not appear.
