Xenon

Xenon is a fork of the Embeddium mod, which is a port of the Sodium optimization mod for the Forge platform. This modification includes numerous improvements, additional settings, and is maintained by a new development team.

Currently, Xenon contains all the additional improvements from the Embeddium Extras mod, as well as vertical video settings from Reese (which are necessary for extended options).

This modification is intended to replace Embeddium in version 1.20.1 (and soon in older versions), while not conflicting with the original Sodium.

Project Features

• The mod will remain exclusive to Forge
• Suggestions for improvements and enhancements are welcome and accepted
• When/if Sodium releases an official Forge port for new versions, development of Xenon for those versions will be discontinued

Technical Support

Xenon is not supported by the CaffeineMC or embeddedt teams. Do not report issues encountered with this modification to their bug tracking systems or Discord servers. Problem reports can be submitted on the Xenon project's GitHub or the developer's Discord server.

Compatibility

OptiFine is not supported. This mod replaces OptiFine's functionality.

Xenon is compatible with all modifications that work with Embeddium, as it is its fork. We strive to maintain maximum compatibility with the original Sodium and addons for Embeddium/Forge Sodium.

Shader Support

For now, it is recommended to continue using the Oculus mod for working with shaders. If you encounter problems with installed shaders, first disable Oculus. If this resolves the issue, report it to the Oculus developers.
