The system for enhancing duration and potency of potions follows classic vanilla principles using redstone and glowstone. However, as the potion's strength increases, additional side effects appear, making usage more balanced.

Particular attention deserves the exclusive brewing recipe using XP Brew 2 and lapis - it not only boosts luck but also has maximum effectiveness, albeit with the most significant side effects.

Important balancing: To prevent excessive enhancement, the mod limits the maximum value of a single experience orb to 50 points. This provides substantial reward increase but prevents the system from going out of control in rare cases where astronomical amounts of experience could potentially be generated.
