YABM - Yet Another Backpack Mod

Mod Overview

YABM (Yet Another Backpack Mod) is now available for Fabric! This modification adds backpacks of various tiers with useful features to the game, and developers plan to expand functionality in future updates.

System Requirements

The mod requires Fabric API to work. Previously, an additional NBT Crafting mod was needed, but starting from version 2.1.0-beta.2, it's included in the download package.

Backpack Types

The modification features three main types of backpacks: Small, Medium, and Large.

Small Backpack (9 slots):

Medium Backpack (27 slots):

Crafted from Small Backpack using shapeless crafting:

Large Backpack (45 slots):

Crafted from Medium Backpack using shapeless crafting:

Important note: Starting from version 2.1.0-beta.1, the recipe works only with a plain shulker box. A recipe for cleaning shulker boxes in a cauldron has been added. Since this is a beta version, it's recommended to create world backups.

Upgrade Features

When creating upgraded backpack versions, their contents are preserved, which is very convenient when transitioning to more spacious models.

New Ender Backpack

The new Fabric version introduces a special Ender Backpack:

The Ender Backpack has separate storage for each player, and all Ender Backpacks of one player share the same space. It's important to note that it does NOT provide access to the Ender Chest, but developers are considering adding such functionality in the future.

All presented backpacks may be changed in future mod versions.
