Magical Blades with Special Properties
The YDM's Spellswords modification enriches the Minecraft gameplay by adding nine unique swords to the player's arsenal. Each weapon possesses its own magical effect that activates upon hitting an enemy. This makes battles not only more effective but also significantly more interesting.
Magical Abilities of the Blades
The collection includes various swords with special properties:
- Flametongue — sets enemies on fire
- Frostbite — freezes the target
- Poison Fang — poisons the enemy
- Life Seeker — restores health when attacking
- Persecutor — highlights the enemy with glow
- Blighter — applies wither effect
- Double Edge — deals massive damage at the cost of own health
- Wrath of Zeus — summons lightning on the enemy
- Lawless War Blade — random effect with each hit
Creating Magical Weapons
In the current version, swords are created through the smithing table using the following recipes:
- Blighter = iron sword + wither rose
- Flametongue = iron sword + blaze powder
- Frostbite = iron sword + blue ice
- Life Seeker = iron sword + totem of undying
- Persecutor = iron sword + glow ink sac
- Spider Fang = iron sword + spider eye
- Double Edge = diamond sword + amethyst shard
- Wrath of Zeus = diamond sword + nether star
- Lawless War Blade = netherite sword + end crystal
For version 1.20.1, weapon creation through the crafting table is available.
