Yes Steve Model is a modification for Minecraft that works on Forge, Fabric, and NeoForge platforms, completely transforming the standard player model. The mod is based on the geckolib library, enabling the use of models and animation files from Minecraft Bedrock Edition. This opens up endless possibilities for personalizing character appearance and movements.

Yes Steve Model is designed with the server community's needs in mind and includes many features optimized for multiplayer gameplay:
- Automatic Model Synchronization: When connecting to a server, models are automatically downloaded to the player's computer.
- Content Protection: All models are transmitted in encrypted binary format, preventing unauthorized copying.
- Authorization System: Specific models require administrator permission via a special command.
- Compatibility with Standard Models: Enhanced versions of Steve and Alex models are included, automatically displaying player skins.
The customization process is incredibly simple — just place model, texture, and animation files in a special folder, then enter the reload command in the game. No configuration file editing required!
For client players, using the mod is also intuitive. After the first connection to a server (model synchronization takes about 10-15 seconds), you can open the management interface with the Alt + Y key combination:
- ① Model Switch Button: Switch between available models. A red icon in the upper right corner indicates lack of authorization. The number on the button shows the number of available materials for the model.
- ② Texture Switch Buttons: For models with multiple textures, use the left/right buttons.
- ③ Model Category Switch: Ability to filter between all models, authorized models, and standard models (currently only Steve and Alex).
