YIGD reforked

This modification represents an updated version of the original You're in Grave Danger with additional functionality and improvements.

What is this mod?

YIGD reforked offers an enhanced death handling system in the Minecraft game. When your character dies, a special grave appears at the death location, automatically containing all your lost items. Most importantly, the game remembers the exact layout of items in your inventory and restores them to the same slots after resurrection.

Key improvements and features

Compatibility with territory protection system (CPA)

• Smart block placement rules determination:

  • Setting behavior when lacking building permissions (default: drop item)
  • Setting behavior when having building permissions (default: place in grave)

• Extended grave creation control:

  • Ability to allow/prohibit grave generation on protected territories
  • Separate setting for grave creation on your own land plots

Localization and internationalization

The mod received high-quality German translation, and all missing localization keys were added for full multi-language support.

Flexible configuration

The developer approached configuration very seriously — practically every aspect of the mod's behavior can be finely tuned to your needs. If some setting related to death handling is missing — it's considered an error, not a lack of functionality.

The updated version will be especially useful for server owners who want stricter control over grave spawning and extended customization of interaction with territory protection systems.

Tested with FTB Chunks and with FTB XMod compatibility. The author notes that in the future this version may lose relevance.
