YUNG's Better End Island (Fabric)

Complete Overhaul of the Main End Island

This mod completely transforms the appearance of the main island in the End where the dragon fight takes place. The obsidian pillars, End gateways, spawn platform, and central portal have been completely redesigned.

Key Changes:

• The dragon no longer spawns immediately upon entering the End
• To summon the dragon, players need to approach the bell tower in the center of the island
• The system for resummoning the dragon has been changed: instead of placing crystals around the portal, they need to be placed on 4 bedrock blocks inside the tower
• For player convenience, vanilla crystal placement method is still supported
• The dragon's artificial intelligence remains unchanged

Working with Existing Worlds

To apply changes to already created worlds, use the /end_island reset command. This command resets the dragon fight state and replaces old structures with new versions.

IMPORTANT: Before using the command, be sure to create a backup of your world! Simply deleting End dimension files is not enough - you need to execute the command.

If there are issues with portal or tower spawning after executing the command (for example, the portal appears under the island), use the full command /end_island reset true to force portal placement on the surface. And again - don't forget about backups!

Compatibility

The mod is designed for maximum compatibility with other modifications. Features of working with popular End mods:

Better End

• Due to the reduced island size, obsidian spikes spawn closer to the center
• If spikes are missing or there are other generation issues, use the /end_island reset command

Nullscape

• Full compatibility in version 1.19+
• Not compatible with version 1.18.2
