Zot's Only Silver

In the early versions of Simple Ores for Minecraft 1.5.2 and older, silver ore was present instead of tin ore. However, in version 1.6.4, the mod creator AleXndrtheGr8st/Skrallexy removed silver, replacing it with tin. Despite this, many players continued to be interested in silver ore, which prompted Zot201 to develop the Only Silver add-on for SimpleOres, bringing back silver ore, silver tools, special enchantments for silver items, and even a silver golem.

Zot201 maintained the original OnlySilver up to Minecraft versions 1.7.10, 1.8, 1.9.4, and 1.10.2. Unfortunately, the developer no longer maintains their old mods. Fortunately, the mod is distributed under the free FOSS license, allowing other enthusiasts to port and modify the source code.

Silver is in demand in many technical mods, and OnlySilver (or another source of silver) is a required dependency for the "Silver & Black" mod by akkamaddi, which is also planned for porting. Thus, Zot's Only Silver returns silver ore, tools, and other silver items for the Simple Ores series mods.

Compatibility

For Minecraft 1.14.4–1.16.1, OnlySilver is a standalone mod and does not require other dependencies (although JEI, as always, is recommended).

For Minecraft 1.16.3 and newer, the SimpleCoreLib library is required.

Creating a Silver Golem

Compared to the original version, creating a silver golem now requires a silver wand. First, create a silver wand from a silver rod and a silver nugget:

Build the golem shape from one silver block and a carved pumpkin/jack o'lantern (image is outdated):

Then click on it with your silver wand:
