Thematic Resource Pack for HWG Modification
Dear players! In Minecraft, there is an excellent modification called Happiness (is a) Warm Gun that adds firearms to the game, drawing inspiration from TF2 and Techguns. In one of the Discord servers, a wonderful idea emerged - to transform the appearance of the weapons, giving them a late 19th-century style. That's why this resource pack was created, which completely changes the visual component of the weapons to resemble vintage western firearms.
Important Information
Some weapon models remain unchanged for two reasons: suitable textures have not been created for them yet, and no historical analogues were found that would organically fit into the overall concept of the resource pack.
Since version 1.1.0, the pack has undergone significant changes. Not only weapon models have been replaced but also some mobs, blocks, and standard game elements.
Installation Instructions
For the resource pack to work correctly, you need to perform the following steps:
- Download the resource pack to your computer
- Open the archive with the files
- Extract the 'hwg.json' file and place it in the configuration folder (.minecraft/configs or the corresponding folder in your launcher)
- When replacing the file, confirm the action - this is necessary to apply the special settings developed for the proper functioning of the weapons
- If the game is running, close it and launch it again. On a server, a full restart will be required
- Enjoy the atmosphere of the Wild West!
Compatibility Requirements
The resource pack is compatible with HWG version 1.4.23 and above for Minecraft 1.20.1. Earlier versions of the mod are not supported.
