Alex's Titles
This resource pack adds five customized biome titles specifically for caves from Alex's Caves mod, which are compatible with Traveler's Titles. Each title represents an impressive 3D object, handcrafted in the style similar to Minecraft Dungeons - they will certainly bring additional aesthetics when discovering these underground locations!
⚠️ Please note: this resource pack completely relies on the basic functionality of Visual Traveler's Titles from developer un_roman - without initial installation of this resource pack, proper operation is impossible.
Currently, all elements are localized exclusively in English.
Installation Setup:
First, you need to download and install: - Traveler's Titles - Alex's Caves
Then open the Traveler's Titles configuration files and navigate to the "Biomes" section, where you need to disable the following parameters: "Display Text Shadow" and "Only Show Biome Titles When Exposed To Skylight" (set to false) - this is a mandatory requirement for correct display of new titles.
Important Technical Details of Current Version:
The text title display system is synchronized with basic biome settings. Despite the desire to create unique visual design for underground locations, the current version preserves general parameters. Additional visual settings may be added in future updates.
Since the game mechanics don't classify these cave formations as full underground biomes, you must disable the "Only Show Biome Titles When Exposed To Skylight" option. Otherwise, the titles won't be displayed (exceptions include only locations with direct sky access). Separately worth noting is that even using additional data packs to override biome status won't help when configuring Abyssal Chasm - this zone technically maintains connection to the sky and falls into different categorization.
Localization is limited to English alphabet due to technical restrictions of the text generation tool, so adding other language versions is currently difficult.
Tested on Minecraft versions from 1.19 to 1.20+.
