Apex PvP
The Bedrock Edition version is also available!
Apex PvP is a texture pack specifically designed for players engaged in PvP battles. Unlike many other texture sets, here we focus only on the most essential elements for comfortable player-versus-player gameplay.
Key Advantages
Most PvP texture packs contain numerous unnecessary details that are not only useless in combat but also reduce performance. Some of them have 32x resolution and higher, which creates additional system load. Our pack includes only functional changes while increasing FPS!
Supported Versions
The resource pack is compatible with versions 1.8.9 and all updates starting from 1.18. This is important since most similar packs are oriented only toward 1.8.9 (the classic version for PvP), but many gamers prefer modern versions of the game.
Core Features
- Shortened swords for better visibility
- Ore outlines (works with any texture pack on 1.18 and later)
- Wool borders for easy navigation
- Improved crosshair for accuracy and performance
- Lowered items: totem, shield, axes
- Reduced fire animation
- Unobtrusive particles and weather effects
- Unobtrusive clouds
- No pumpkin blur effect
- Vignette effect removed
- Unobtrusive scaffolding (compatible with any resource packs on 1.18+)
- Arabic numerals instead of Roman (III converted to 3)
- Optimized models - significant FPS increase
- Numbered hotbar
- Colored ping display (e.g., 3 bars colored orange)
- Suspicious sand and gravel outlines
- And many other useful features!
Frequently Asked Questions
Why choose this pack?
This resource pack modifies only the elements necessary for PvP, provides noticeable performance improvement, and works on a wide range of Minecraft versions.
FPS doesn't increase!
The set does indeed boost performance, however with serious lag caused by large numbers of entities, the effect may be less noticeable. On version 1.8.9, known for its poor optimization, lag is possible even on weak computers (but FPS increase will still occur). We recommend using this resource pack along with OptiFine for best results.
