Ashen 16x Custom Font

This font pack is designed for use with the Ashen 16x resource pack and completely replaces Minecraft's vanilla fonts with a new serif typeface created from scratch. Initially, this font was a built-in feature of Ashen 16x, but it has now been separated into a standalone add-on for those who prefer to use it independently of the main resource pack or want to apply this font with other texture packs.

Unlike many other custom fonts, the Ashen set offers a complete typographic system that covers more than just the basic Latin alphabet. If a character can be typed in vanilla Minecraft, it will display correctly with this font! This includes the Illager alphabets and Standard Galactic script (used on enchanting tables). There is only a minor exception: characters like Devanagari, which Minecraft inserts via Unicode, will remain with the game's original fonts.

The font pack should work with any other resource packs provided you place it above them in the load order. However, compatibility with packs that add fonts via .ttf files or similar formats has not been tested, so results may vary.

Although this font is compatible with all resource packs, it's important to note that it was specifically designed for Ashen 16x – a medieval fantasy texture pack where it fits most organically into the overall aesthetic.
