Overview

This resource pack for Minecraft Transit Railway modification adds two types of British Rail trains.

British Rail Class 323 is an electric multiple unit manufactured by Hunslet TPL and Holec Ridderkerk UK between 1992 and 1994. These trains were originally intended for regional transportation by British Rail, mainly on the Cross-City Line and Leeds/Bradford - Skipton/Ilkley routes. Although the second part of the plans wasn't implemented, a total of 43 units were built. Out of these, 26 operated on the Cross-City Line, while the remaining 17 served Manchester's electrified network, including routes to Glossop, Crewe, and Liverpool. Currently, 34 trains operate with Northern trains, and 9 are in storage.

British Rail Class 157 Strathclyde Sprinter is a project for a diesel multiple unit that was never implemented. It was planned that these trains would be manufactured in 1992-1994 for regional transportation in the Strathclyde area. However, due to the privatization of British Rail and insufficient funding, the order was canceled, and instead of Class 157, Class 170 trains were acquired.

This resource pack implements both models in Minecraft, with Class 157 presented as a creative interpretation assuming the use of the same body as Class 323.
