GrandmaPork's Custom Textures Resource Pack

REQUIRES OPTIFINE OR CIT RESEWN INSTALLATION

This texture pack was created to enhance gameplay convenience by providing visual distinction between tools and armor sets. The original concept focused on easily identifying Silk Touch pickaxes versus Fortune pickaxes, but development expanded to include unique appearances for various armor configurations.

Development Resumption

Work on the resource pack continues with assistance from Jeff for modpack compatibility. Future updates will feature improved existing textures and the addition of new visual variants.

Developer Credits

Not all textures originated from the pack creator. The project incorporates works from friends and other authors who granted permission for inclusion:

• Knightly set (netherite) from the knightly netherite armor pack by scraskin2
• Heavy sets from the Better Armors pack by Shadow Crow
• Warrior set and tools (netherite) from the Improved Netherite pack by Toxteer
• Epic Tools created by Fect
• Beskar set from the Mandalorian Netherite Armor pack by Oscar098

Texture Activation Feature

Important to note: texture changes activate based on item names, not applied enchantments!

Current Available Textures

Protective Sets:

• "Hellmail" - fire protection armor (netherite)
• "Knightly" - knightly armor (netherite helmet and chestplate only)
• "Warrior" - protection armor and warrior tools (netherite)
• "Heavy" - blast protection armor (all armor types)
• "Beskar" - Mandalorian armor and tools (netherite)

Skeleton Variants:

• "Bone" - skeleton armor for gold
• "Skel" - skeleton armor for chainmail
• "Netherbone" - skeleton armor for netherite

Tools and Weapons:

• "Lucky Pickaxe" - fortune pickaxe texture (netherite, diamond, iron, gold)
• "Soft Pickaxe" - silk touch pickaxe texture (netherite, diamond, iron, gold)
• "Soft Shovel" - silk touch shovel texture (netherite, diamond, iron, gold)
• "Enderbane" - Enderman farm sword (netherite and diamond)
• "Flaming Sword" - fire aspect sword texture (netherite)
• "Epic" - unique textures for various tools
• "oops" - damaged armor texture (netherite only)

Upcoming Update Plans

The next update (version 0.5) will add:

• "Migrator" armor
• Skeleton armor for diamond ("Skel")
• "GrandmaPork's Hoe" netherite hoe
• Fire protection armor for iron, diamond, and gold ("Hell")
• Improved "Lucky/Fortune" pickaxe textures
• Additional name option "Silk" for silk touch pickaxes
• Simplified naming conventions for increased creative usage

Future Additions

Long-term development plans include:

• "Steelbone" texture set
• Royal sets for chainmail, iron, gold, and diamond
• Cactus armor set with colored gem accents
• Stone and wooden variants for tool textures – Various flaming sword options with enhanced animation
• Unique trader textures, including mending-specific variants
• Technoblade-themed textures
• Complete "Migrator" armor set
