Interesting Facts
The four elemental paintings activated by this datapack were originally created back in 2012 for version 0.5.0 alpha release of Minecraft Pocket Edition. These artworks were intended for use on a special Minecon map, but this project was never released to the public. Almost ten years later, Mojang developers added the unused paintings to Java Edition 22w16a, however they remain inaccessible without third-party addons like this datapack.
Benefits of This Datapack
While this isn't the first project to make these paintings available for Java Edition, this datapack is the first to provide access to the content without violating Mojang's copyright, as it doesn't redistribute the developers' textures without permission. Additionally, the datapack has been optimized for fast loading times, minimal disk space usage, and faster game startup times.
