Four Diamond Swords

This resource pack adds a collection of unique diamond swords to Minecraft using the CustomModelData tag. Instead of the standard diamond sword, you get various colored variants that bring freshness to the gameplay.

Main Features

The pack initially contained four swords accessible through CustomModelData values: 1 (green), 2 (red), 3 (purple), and 4 (pink). To obtain the green diamond sword, use the command: /give PLAYERNAME diamond_sword{CustomModelData:1}

Updates and Expansions

Over time, the pack was expanded with additional content. In September 2019, four more swords were added, accessible through values 5, 6, 7, and 8. A week later, a ninth sword (value 9) appeared.

In 2020, the authors included a golden pickaxe with CustomModelData:2 in the collection. The 2021 update deserves special attention — it added support for OptiFine and an exclusive sword available only to users of this client.

Usage Flexibility

All swords can be renamed versions of their corresponding color variants or created using an iron sword base, making them more accessible in the early game due to the easy availability of iron. Non-color-related names for the CustomModelData-based swords may change in future updates.
