Full-Width Punctuation Characters Fix
This resource pack fixes a common issue with punctuation display in Chinese and Japanese languages in Minecraft. In the original game version, all punctuation marks in CJK languages are displayed as half-width characters, though they should take up as much space as a regular character.
What does this resource pack fix?
Users of Chinese and Japanese languages have long noticed that commas, periods and other punctuation marks appear too narrow. They look compressed and take up less space than required by the standards of these languages.

The example shows how text with correct full-width punctuation is displayed in the game with compressed punctuation. All characters should be the same width, but in Minecraft many of them take up less space.
Which versions are suitable?
Minecraft developers fixed this issue in version 1.18, but many players continue to use older versions 1.17.1 and below - due to mods or other reasons. This resource pack brings the fix from version 1.18 to older game versions.
Supported versions: 1.6.1 - 1.17.1
Important notes
For players using versions 1.10.2 and below, it is necessary to restart the game after installing the resource pack for the changes to take effect. This is related to bug MC-41270.
Since the resource pack modifies Unicode fonts, when used with other resource packs that also modify Unicode fonts, unexpected results may occur. It is recommended to check compatibility with all installed resource packs.
