Golden Days is a series of texture packs that transforms your game into a time machine. The set completely redesigns blocks, items, mobs, and interface elements to recreate the atmosphere of old Minecraft versions.
Golden Days Base Pack
The main pack is designed for survival gameplay and preserves all modern game features. It includes updated textures, models, lighting, and sounds - everything needed for immersion in nostalgic atmosphere. Requires Programmer Art textures to function properly.
Golden Days Alpha
This addon brings back the legendary green grass color from the Alpha era! Use it together with the base pack to recreate the authentic Alpha atmosphere in modern Minecraft.
Experimental Addons
These packs are in testing phase and may not receive regular updates.
Golden Days Classic
Transforms the game into the free classic version of Minecraft.
Golden Days Music
Inspired by SalC1's history of Minecraft music. Removes modern biome-specific music in the Overworld and replaces it with classic C418 compositions.
Golden Days Picture Perfect
Specially created for screenshot creation! Transforms blocks like Granite, Blue Orchids, and Tall Grass into their Beta and Alpha counterparts.
Warning: Not recommended for survival gameplay as block appearances don't match their actual properties.
Golden Days Tweaks
An overlay pack for adapting other texture packs to the old Minecraft style. Not compatible with all packs.
