GT Legacy - Returning to GregTech's Texturing Origins
This resource pack for Minecraft version 1.12.2 brings the legendary appearance of early GregTech versions to the GTCE modification. You'll get to enjoy returning to the roots with familiar blueish equipment housings, black cable insulation, and ingot texture sets coming from GT5 and GT5u. Additionally, the package includes many design elements from related expansions.
An important project feature is the optional implementation of connected textures for blast furnace coils, fusion reactors, and reinforced glasses. Future versions plan to introduce support for other blocks with similar properties.
User functionality offers a certain degree of configuration through editing the contents of the resource pack directory. This applies to both the ability to switch the inventory book interface (JEI) to a fully blue color scheme, forcibly disabling connected block images provided by other third-party mods, and utilizing subtle texture variants for multi-faceted smelting coils from Gregicality Advanced Coils. For precise configuration instructions, we recommend referring to the manual provided with the resource pack.
Mods with Current Support:
The technological foundation is compatible with the following foundational and thematic modifications: GTCE (GregTech Community Edition), Gregicality, Shadows of Greg, CEU, and JEI (inventory interface component).
Texture Authorship:
Constructions such as coils for electric arc smelting furnaces and titanium gearbox reducers, as well as material icon sets, come from the GregTech: New Horizons game expansions collection.
Elements of fusion reactor Mk1 and Mk2 casings, and a number of other visual materials are based on artifacts from the GTCE (GregTech Community Edition) catalog.
High-resolution modules of Just Enough Items (JEI) are adaptations of the corresponding in-game look-up mode design.
Files for quantum computer installations and telecommunications fibers were obtained from the TecTech project library.
Final CEU user interface schemes underwent significant artistic reinterpretation, using materials from CEU itself as a basis.
The remaining numerous execution resources trace back to materials and principles presented in the Gregicality modification.
