HWG 1800s
Greetings to all connoisseurs of quality modifications! Originally, there was an excellent mod called Happiness (is a) Warm Gun that added firearms to Minecraft, inspired by games like TF2 and Techguns. However, an interesting idea emerged in one of the Discord communities - to change the appearance of the weapons to better resemble models from the late 19th century. This is exactly the task that this resource pack fulfills!
Important Information
Not all weapon elements have been changed - in some cases, this is due to the absence of ready-made models, in others I deliberately decided not to replace those specimens for which it is difficult to find an adequate analogue from that era.
Starting from version 1.1.0, significant changes have occurred. The modification affects not only weapons but also mobs, blocks, and standard game assets.
Installation and Setup
For everything to work correctly and according to the intended design, you need to perform the following steps:
- Download the resource pack
- Open the resource pack archive
- Extract the 'hwg.json' file and place it in the configs folder of your .minecraft/configs or in the corresponding configuration folder of your launcher/profile
- If the system prompts you to replace an existing file - agree, this is necessary to apply special settings that ensure proper weapon functionality
- Restart the game (if it was open) or reload the server to activate the changes made
- Enjoy the atmosphere of the Wild West!
System Requirements
Correct operation requires HWG mod version 1.4.23 or higher for Minecraft 1.20.1. Compatibility with previous versions is not guaranteed.
