Hypixel Zombies Vanilla-Texture-Based Weapon Texture Pack
If you've never played Zombies on the Hypixel server: this resource pack is created exclusively for this mini-game and nothing more. It's not a mod that adds new weapons to the game, but merely a texture set that changes the appearance of items used as weapons in the Zombies mode.
For Fans of Default Textures
I created this pack for those who, like me, prefer Minecraft's classic textures and don't want to install third-party designs. Essentially, I just mirrored some textures and swapped the colors of the handle and "barrel" parts so that items in Zombies mode look like actual firearms.
How It Works
The Hypixel developers didn't use any texture packs for Zombies mode, and this suited me perfectly. But I thought: why not change the textures so that items are held realistically in hands, showing the appearance of weapons instead of garden tools?
Of course, minor edits had to be made for visual improvement. The result turned out much neater, although all changes are kept to a minimum. Most textures are only mirrored except for the double-barrel shotgun – a completely new design was created for it. It turned out so well that this texture became the pack's logo.
This animation by Black Plasma Studio clearly shows that the hoe is held opposite to real weapons – the top part serves as the handle, when it should be the other way around.
Usage Features
Textures are changed exclusively for weapons used in Zombies mode. Other elements, including knives and Puncher, remain in their original form. Therefore, you can combine it with other texture packs – just place it above others in the active resource packs list in the game settings.
Since I created this pack for personal use, there's no reason for me to actively maintain it. If you have improvement ideas – I may consider them, but I probably won't respond to every review.
IMPORTANT: This resource pack is designed for Minecraft version 1.8.
