Little Changes

You need to use OptiFine with Forge for proper operation, especially regarding the new zombie pigman! Also set Minecraft to US English (American English) to see the renamed zombie pigman to piglin and rose name changes. We recommend always reading the changelog for each version!

This is my first resource pack. It contains many small but successful changes (not too radical, but rather appropriate and suitable). I added more texture modifications in the extended versions: Extended, Extended 2, Extended 3, Extended 4, and Extended 6! In these extended versions, you'll find several mod-compatible textures that I added, besides standard changes. I also created versions for 1.14.4 Extended, but for various reasons, only 2 mods are supported there. You can read more about all changes in the changelog and view other screenshots! You can see screenshots of Extended version 3 after the 22nd image, Extended version 4 after the 40th, and so on.

Here are some of the changes you'll find in this resource pack:

Slimes have more visible, darker eyes and mouth. Magma cubes have changed color and no longer have a visible mouth. Magma block and magma cream have a slightly different color that better matches the recolored magma cube, since the magma block is part of magma cream, and magma cream comes from magma cubes. Water has become a bit darker blue, while lava and fire have become a bit darker orange. The saddle became brown since originally it has a strange orange color as an item and on pigs, but it's naturally brown on horses, donkeys, and mules. Some horses have minor differences in certain parts but are very similar to the original, and the gray horse no longer exists - it's replaced with something else that will be a surprise when you start playing. Glowstone has a different color that looks more like glowstone dust. Lapis has a slightly different texture with a nicer blue color. Poppy and blue orchid have been replaced with the old red rose and blue rose. Red, orange, lime green, and pink wool have the same texture as in version 1.12, of course, in version 1.12.2 of this resource pack I didn't add these changes.

Zombie pigmen have a slightly different color and piglin shape from version 1.16 with piglin name. Llamas have different eye and fur colors. Cow and mooshroom have lighter, almost white spots, and the cow also has a lighter brown color. Creeper has a different green color, more like lime green with several small green spots. Cats look like tamed ocelots (in version 1.14.4 this isn't the case, there are other cat colors there). Blaze looks more like a Nether creeper, his face looks like a creeper's face, and with the Rough Mobs mod configuration, they can explode like creepers - you can set the explosion radius in the mod. Netherrack and quartz ore have a different color, more red. Oak wooden items (for example, wooden trapdoor, oak door, etc.) and oak chest have a different color, more like oak wooden plank block. Chest saddles on llamas, horses, and donkeys also have a different oak wood color, as I mentioned above. Beacon has a different color, the same as the beacon beam light color. Iron golem has a different head and body - the head remains a pumpkin since we use it for building, it would be strange if the head were also iron. The body became cleaner iron, arms and legs darker iron, similar to hopper, anvil, and cauldron. The idea and some texture parts came from the Better than Default resource pack. Sheep faces are a bit different - they now have more of a nose rather than a strange pink spot.

I've described most changes, but not all. You can explore more changes if you install this resource pack!

Of course, you can view some screenshots of the changes in the images section.

If you don't know how to add a resource pack to Minecraft, I'll help you with that. After you've downloaded the ZIP file for your Minecraft version, do not extract it, or it won't work. Copy the ZIP file to the resourcepacks folder in your Minecraft folder. Then launch Minecraft, go to Settings, select Resource Packs, and add it to Minecraft, wait a bit for the process to complete. If you've done everything correctly, it should work.
