Lz Roundish Logs — Textures That Create an Illusion of Volume

I always wanted tree trunks and logs in Minecraft to appear more rounded without using full 3D models.

I came up with an idea: you can trick the eye by keeping the cubic shape and flat textures but adding dark shadows along the edges while keeping the center of the texture bright. This creates an impression of rounded surfaces.

Results of Using the Resource Pack

Here's what regular log textures look like without using this pack:

Now look at the same blocks with the resource pack installed:

I also changed the textures of all log ends, moving the corners closer to the center. However, it's important to note that the sides of birch, crimson, and warped logs were intentionally left unchanged.

For some wood types, I deliberately used elements from older Minecraft versions to give them a vintage look.

The resource pack is compatible with all Minecraft versions that support custom textures and doesn't require additional mods.
