Magma Variants

The Magma Variants resource pack offers a fresh perspective on magical blocks in Minecraft. Instead of monotonous magma textures, you get 12 different variants that automatically change depending on adjacent blocks. This pack fully maintains the atmosphere of vanilla gameplay but makes it much more interesting.

How it works

The magma texture dynamically adapts to surrounding blocks. By placing magma next to stone, you get the stone variant, and next to diorite - the diorite variant. All 12 variants:

Overworld:

• Stone magma variant
• Andesite magma variant
• Diorite magma variant
• Granite magma variant
• Deepslate magma variant
• Tuff magma variant

Nether:

• Netherrack magma variant
• Blackstone magma variant
• Basalt magma variant
• Soul soil magma variant
• Crimson nylium magma variant
• Warped nylium magma variant

Technical features

OptiFine is required for the pack to work, as it uses the CTM "Overlay" feature. This allows for natural transitions between different texture variants.
