MateriALT
This resource pack completely overhauls the color solutions of most materials in Minecraft, creating harmonious visual unity between all items made from one resource. For example, now all gold items use the same color palette. Some textures have also been updated for better alignment with the new style - for instance, all types of stew now drip juices similar to suspicious stew.
Main color palette changes:
- Wooden items have acquired warmer shades, similar to the color scheme of crossbows
- Diamonds no longer have the unpleasant greenish-blue tint - they are now crystal clear, shiny, and intensely blue
- Gold has become more consistent in usage and gotten rid of the unattractive greenish undertone
- Iron items have received a warmer color temperature
- Tridents now use the oxidized copper palette since copper is associated with drowned mobs
- Netherite items have become much more purple, emphasizing that purple traditionally represents the rarest items in Minecraft, which looks incredibly cool!
- Emeralds now use more yellow-green spring colors to make them stand out more in the game
Even more changes are expected in the near future!
