Modern Font Pack — Modern Fonts for Minecraft
Tired of Minecraft's bulky default font? Even with the "Force Unicode Font" option enabled, text appears blurry on high-resolution monitors. This resource pack completely transforms the text in the game, making fonts smooth, modern, and aesthetically pleasing.

Resource Pack Variants
Three main versions are available with different levels of smoothing:
HD Version
Perfect for medium and high-resolution monitors or with GUI Scale 3 and above. Includes 5 regional variants using Google's Noto Sans font family:
- Japanese (JP): Noto Sans Japanese
- Korean (KR): Noto Sans Korean
- Chinese Simplified (CN): Noto Sans Simplified Chinese
- Chinese Traditional (TW): Noto Sans Traditional Chinese
- Hong Kong (HK): Noto Sans Hong Kong
Basic Version
Designed for low-resolution screens or small GUI scale (such as 2). Uses simplified smoothing for optimal display in such conditions.
Supreme Version
Provides maximum smoothing quality for very high-resolution monitors (QHD 2560×1440, 4K UHD 3840×2160 and above). Requires Minecraft version 1.13 and above.
Additional Features
Emoji Support
The resource pack includes Google's Noto Emoji fonts, allowing you to use emojis directly in the game.
Decorative Characters
Uses Noto Sans, Noto Sans Math, and Noto Sans Symbols fonts, providing access to various special symbols and mathematical signs. To use them, simply copy text from online generators and paste it into the game — no commands like /tellraw or /title are required.
Important Limitations
- Emojis and special characters work only in version 1.16 and above
- Minecraft does not support combining characters, so some emojis and special text styles may display incorrectly
- All emojis are monochrome for compatibility with the game's color formatting
Regional Features
Different countries and regions have separate variants for character writing:
- HD-Japanese, Basic-Japanese, Supreme-Japanese (Japan)
- HD-Korean, Basic-Korean, Supreme-Korean (Korea)
- HD-Chinese, Basic-Chinese, Supreme-Chinese (China)
- HD-Taiwan, Basic-Taiwan, Supreme-Taiwan (Taiwan)
- HD-Hong Kong, Basic-Hong Kong, Supreme-Hong Kong (Hong Kong)

Selecting the Right Version
With the wrong version selection, the font may appear blurry or rough. The image below shows how different versions display with various settings:
For QHD (2560×1440), 4K UHD (3840×2160) and above resolutions with Minecraft version 1.13+, the Supreme version with fullscreen mode enabled is recommended.

Resource pack files follow the format: MFP-J[Smoothness]-[Version Category][Version Number][CJK Type].zip

Advantages Over Mods
Unlike Smooth Font Mod and Modern UI Mod, Modern Font Pack:
- Supports all Java Edition versions from 1.5 to current
- Works in Bedrock Edition from version 1.2.0 to current
- Does not require mod installation or special loaders
- Compatible with any system configuration
If your region does not use CJK characters, you can ignore the CJK Type parameter — simply choose the appropriate smoothness level and version category.
