Modern Textures

This resource pack brings back textures from modern versions of Minecraft to older releases 1.2.5 and earlier.

A "No Mojang" version is available that keeps the classic Mojang logo when launching the game. The modern logo image is too large for versions before 1.8 and causes crashes even with resizing.

Elements not included in the pack

• Compass and clock — cannot be changed without installing additional mods
• Water and lava — also require modification of source code
• Villagers — difficult to implement, with complete modernization requiring the use of mods (minor improvements are gratefully accepted)
• Panoramic images — the developer prefers independence from a specific modern version of Minecraft
• Minecraft logo — keeps the classic version, since most enthusiasts of older versions prefer it
