Midnighttigger's Default Connected Textures
This resource pack adds an attractive connected texture system for popular vanilla Minecraft blocks. The main goal is to recreate the classic texture appearance from Optifine, but using the modern Fusion Connected Textures mod.
Main Features
- Connected sandstone textures - both normal and red
- Connected bookshelves appear as a single cohesive unit
- Glass blocks with connection effects, including stained and tinted glass
- Glass panes of all types also support connected textures
Note: The abbreviation "CT" means Connected Textures
For addons such as Programmer Art and Clear Glass, visit the MT-CT-D-A page. Fusion Connected Textures opens up amazing visual possibilities without needing to install Optifine or Continuity.
Frequently Asked Questions
Textures not connecting? First, check that you have the required Fusion Connected Textures mod installed.
Warning about old Minecraft version Don't worry - just install the pack normally. The resource pack should work correctly unless the game developers have made significant changes to the resource pack format.
Compatibility issues When using Sodium version earlier than 0.6.0, additional installation of Indium is required, as older versions of Sodium change the Fabric rendering system.
Add-ons and additional materials All add-ons are in a separate pack called MT-CT-D-A.
Technical Information
The project is merged with the MT-CT-D-A repository on GitHub. When reporting bugs, indicate the version you are using. The Main branch has the prefix "Main_".
Future Development Possibilities
- Research is underway to add support for the Optifine Connected Textures (OCT) format alongside current Fusion Connected Textures (FCT) support
- Previously discontinued compatibility with CTM and Athena may return in future updates
