About the Resource Pack

This resource pack adds the Tokyo Waterfront Area Rapid Transit 70-000 series trains to Minecraft. This train model was manufactured by Kawasaki Corporation between 1995 and 2004. A total of 86 vehicles were produced, serving the Rinkai Line and providing through services to the JR Saikyō and Kawagoe Lines.

Features and History

The 70-000 series trains are based on the 209 series model, which significantly reduced production and maintenance costs (maintenance is carried out by JR East). Six of these train sets were later transferred to JR East and reclassified as "209-3100" for operation on the Hachikō and Kawagoe Lines following the restructuring of all units to 10-car configurations.

These trains are currently being gradually phased out of service, with some being transferred to JR Kyushu to replace the outdated 103 series trains still operating on the Chikuhi Line.

This resource pack was developed by Navi_LX9702 in 2025 and allows players to use accurate visual replicas of these waterfront express trains in the game through the Minecraft Transit Railway mod.
