Parrot Variants

This resource pack introduces new color variations for parrots in the game. The modification supports two Minecraft versions simultaneously: 1.12 (including 1.12.1 and 1.12.2) and 1.14 (including all subversions 1.14.1-1.14.4).

The presented color variations harmoniously blend with the game's classic palette while simultaneously bringing freshness and diversity. A total of 4 unique color options are added. It's worth noting that the red-blue combination appears slightly more frequently than others.

For each parrot type, crested versions are provided, making them resemble cockatoos. Detailed information about updates and changes can be found in the version history.

If you don't know how to install a resource pack in Minecraft, here's a brief instruction: download the ZIP archive corresponding to your game version, do not extract it. Place the file in the resourcepacks folder located in the Minecraft directory. Then launch the game, go to Settings → Resource Packs and activate the downloaded pack. After a short processing period, the changes will take effect.

As an additional bonus, the creator of this modification has also developed a separate mod that adds brown mooshrooms for versions 1.12.2, 1.11.2, 1.7.10 and older game editions. Unlike some other modifications, in this mod brown mooshrooms breed perfectly well with their red counterparts.
