Refreshing Soundtracks is a resource pack that transforms the overall atmosphere of Minecraft by replacing standard soundtracks with diverse and multi-layered ambient music. Initially created solely for personal use, it was later decided to share it with the community as an alternative to the familiar tunes that have accompanied the game for years.
Pack Features
- While many resource packs specialize in producing lo-fi mixtapes, Refreshing Soundtracks moves away from this trend, opting instead for a unique, serene world filled with varied ambient compositions.
- None of the musical tracks used in this pack are composed by its creators—all original works credited to their legitimate authors. A comprehensive list of tracks utilized is included in a text file within the .zip archive.
- Several Minecraft's original codes feature songs unavailable for playback changes—examples such as the accompanying "mutation", but many others (reformat ones included as .ogg wavetab tracks—permanent) remain in standard tune untouched.
- Official testing at version 1.20.1 confirmed compatibility; the resource pack works flawlessly even into version 1.21 and later installations.
