Retinted: Vanilla Waters
This resource pack recolors water blocks in Minecraft, giving them more calm and natural shades of blue. The standard vanilla water appears too saturated – sometimes it's almost purple, which can strain the eyes during extended gameplay.
As part of this project, water in all Overworld biomes receives lighter and more muted tones – except for snowy plains (non-mountain), swamp biomes, and underground areas. In these zones, the original deep blue color is preserved, as it looks most organic there.
For the resource pack to work, the Polytone mod is required, which extends customization options for colors in the game, including water coloring.
Note: Some users report compatibility with Optifine, but this option hasn't been tested by the developer.
