System Benefits
This package modifies Minecraft's item search system by adding alternative names and popular naming variants. This allows:
- Finding blocks by common names (for example: Spawner → Рассадник)
- Using community-established terms (Sniffer → Нюхач)
- Ignoring the difference between E and Ë letters (Cherry → Вишневый)
Installation Steps
For proper operation requires:
- Install the Language Reload modification
- Place downloaded resource pack in the appropriate folder
- In language settings select "Russian Search" and position it below standard Russian
- In-game world, execute F3 + J combination to reload languages
Compatibility Features
- System works on any Minecraft version supporting Language Reload
- Full functionality implemented for version 1.20+
- Some items from update 1.21 temporarily missing from database
- Compatible with third-party language translations without conflicts
Functional Limitations
This resource pack doesn't interact with REI and JEI mods. Search queries can only be used through Minecraft's standard creative menu.
Technical Implementation
The system is based on adding search queries to standard item names. For example, andesite stairs receive additional search variants:
- Andesite steps
- Stairs from andesite
- Andesite ladder
Development Goals
Main project objectives:
- Correction of common typos ("teracotta" → finds correct "ceramic")
- Expansion of mod support when present in creative inventory
- Possible addition of tag system for grouped searches (#light → all light sources)
