Overgrown's Sakura Sword

Requirements for Versions Below 1.21

For Minecraft versions older than 1.21, you must install either OptiFine or, if using Fabric, the CIT Resewn plugin.

How to Obtain the Sword

To get the Sakura Sword, simply rename any standard sword or axe using an anvil.

Creation Story

The idea for this weapon came about after I saw my friend Giovanka wielding a sword called "Sakura". I liked the concept of a Japanese-style sword so much that I asked for permission to create my own version. She suggested making the blade white, like a traditional katana. To maintain the sakura atmosphere, I chose a pink hilt and adorned it with sakura-style floral motifs.

The result turned out quite impressive. In future updates, I plan to refine the crossguard - on real katanas it's round and called a tsuba. For now, I need to master creating round shapes in Blockbench.
