Simple Humans — Resource Pack for Human Companions
Simple Humans is a resource pack currently in the early stages of development, designed for the Human Companions mod. At the moment, it only updates the male companion textures, giving them a more classic look inspired by Minecraft, particularly Steve.
This pack was created because many didn't like the original Human Companions designs — we wanted the characters to better match the Steve and Alex aesthetic. Simple Humans aims to do precisely that: make the mod's companions visually closer to Minecraft's standard style.
The main goal is to keep the gameplay entirely untouched and only apply minimal visual updates, ensuring they blend naturally with the core game play. In the future, the pack may receive further enhancements, but for now it's focused on offering a clear and simple classic-style overhaul for character visuals.
Features include:
- Full compatibility with Minecraft version 1.20.1 (other versions coming later)
- More than 20 remodeled male companion textures
- No changes to gameplay—only aesthetic adjustments
Currently, the update focuses on male companions, with female textures planned for release soon. Stylistically, Simple Humans is simple, clean, and true to the Minecraft classics.
