Simple Numeric Ping

This resource pack replaces the standard connection icons in the player list with clear numerical values showing latency. Unlike mods that offer similar functionality with high precision, this solution is available to vanilla players without any modifications.

Ping ranges correspond to Minecraft's standard connection quality levels:

• 0-99 ms - 5 bars
• 100-299 ms - 4 bars
• 300-599 ms - 3 bars
• 600-999 ms - 2 bars
• 1000+ ms - 1 bar

All values are measured in milliseconds, making it easy to understand the quality of other players' connections on the server.

Compatibility

The resource pack supports Minecraft Java Edition versions 1.20.2-1.21.8. Due to its implementation method, it's incompatible with mods that also modify ping display - whether text-based, numerical, or visual. Simple numeric system visually decodes connection quality for each player.
