Special Nametags [Data Pack]
Significantly expands name possibilities for mobs in Minecraft - adds special names with various effects!
Data Pack Installation
The installation process is intuitive and consists of several simple steps:
- Download the Special Nametags archive
- Navigate to the "datapacks" folder of the desired game world
- Move the datapack to this directory
- Enter the world and execute the
/reloadcommand
Features
This datapak introduces a system of special names that activate certain effects when assigned to mobs - similar to the familiar Dinnerbone and Jeb_, but with much broader functionality.
Usage
Assign one of the names listed below to a specific mob using an anvil, and the corresponding effect will immediately take effect!
Special Names and Their Actions (Minecraft version 1.21.4 and newer):

Datapack Removal
To remove, execute the command /function tags-nbt:uninstall - after the process completes, confirmation will appear in chat.
Older Versions
For Minecraft versions 1.18-1.21.3, corresponding releases with similar but limited functionality are available.
