Super Simple Dirt Slabs
A dual resource pack and data pack combo — this project offers a unique solution for creating dirt slabs in vanilla Minecraft. Instead of adding a new block, the clever approach achieves the desired result using existing game content.
How it works? The resource pack recolors petrified oak slabs (normally available only in creative mode) to mimic the texture of regular dirt. As a result, you get fully functional dirt slabs that blend perfectly with the surrounding landscape.
Exceptional compatibility — since the pack only modifies block models, it works excellently alongside any other texture packs that change dirt appearance. Your favorite texture packs can peacefully coexist with this addition.
Survival crafting recipe — the data pack adds a survival recipe for creating dirt slabs using standard ingredients, identical to crafting any other types of slabs. Now you can produce these useful blocks right in survival mode!
