TFC: Herbicide - Plant Drop Management
This datapack is designed for the TerraFirmaCraft modification in Minecraft version 1.18.2 and fundamentally changes the resource collection system from various plants. TFC: Herbicide provides players with enhanced control over what exactly they gather while working on their farm.
The main purpose of this addon is to solve the problem of inventory clutter from unwanted plant resources. Now the drop behavior depends on the selected harvesting tool:
- By hand: plants leave no items (standard behavior)
- With a knife: new property — 40% probability of obtaining straw (instead of automatically getting the plant itself)
- With shears: now the plant remains intact when collected (which didn't happen before)
- With a shovel: also enables the ability to collect the plant whole (previously nothing was obtained)
The modification affects all tall and standard plants that typically accumulate in inventory and create clutter, providing a more thoughtful and realistic approach to agriculture in the TerraFirmaCraft world.
