About Compatibility

This pack provides compatibility between two popular modifications: Vanilla Backport and Fresh Animations. It enables animations from Fresh Animations to work correctly with unique models from Vanilla Backport.

Important Note on Load Order

For proper operation, this resource pack must be placed ABOVE Fresh Animations in the load order. If placed below, the expected functionality will not be achieved.

Technical Requirements

IMPORTANT: The resource pack will not work properly without support for the relevant features!

Fresh Animations (and this compatibility pack) uses the custom entity models (CEM) system from OptiFine to add new models and animations.

As an alternative to OptiFine, you can use the combination of Entity Model Features and Entity Texture Features mods, which also support the necessary CEM functions for proper animation operation.
