Vanilla Connected Glass

This resource pack adds connected textures for glass blocks and panes, while not requiring OptiFine installation and being compatible with any other resource packs.

• Works with regular glass and colored variants
• Compatibility with all resource packs without conflicts
• Supports both full-size glass blocks and glass panes
• Doesn't require additional mods or OptiFine

However, this pack method has some slight nuances: glass borders remain visible when viewed from inside structures. Also, glass connects with almost all block types except other glass surfaces, leaves, iron bars, and similar elements.

How it works (For content creators)

Glass block models use additional geometry to cover glass borders. Along the edges of these borders are placed corresponding textures that become culled when adjacent blocks make contact. Diagonals on glass may display inaccurately, but the model includes additional cubes for their proper alignment.

Glass panes look particularly high-quality and have minimal display defects.
