HyShaders - Horror Edition
Shader Pack Overview
Presenting a high-performance and lightweight shader pack with four different operating modes. This visualization is specifically designed to convey the frightening atmosphere of horror games, but is also perfectly suited for rusty industrial landscapes and medieval locations. The shader pairs excellently with mod packs and resource packs that aim to achieve similar visual styling.
Shader Modes
Stylized or Realistic Graphics
The Stylized mode preserves Minecraft's characteristic pixel aesthetic, creating a familiar gaming atmosphere. The realistic approach makes shadows and clouds more lifelike. For maximum performance, the stylized version is recommended - it runs slightly faster.
Lite or Maximum Settings
The Ultra mode provides the highest quality graphics at the cost of some performance reduction. The Lite version represents a super-optimized modification that maintains excellent visuals while delivering maximum rendering speed.
Installation Guide
- Download the modification and extract the archive
- Install the Iris mod
- Copy files from the downloaded archive to your game's "shaderpacks" folder (create it if absent)
- Launch the game and enjoy the new graphics
Important: Manual installation allows you to select exactly which shader version you need - Lite or Ultra, Stylized or Realistic. By default, the "Lite Stylized" version is installed. If this is exactly what you're looking for, you can skip this step.
About the Author
This is a forked version of BSL shaders, created with permission from the original author (obtained November 7, 2024 via private messages). The modification has been refined to improve performance, change the color grading, and achieve a unique aesthetic.
