Mellow Shaderpack
Mellow is a graphical shader pack for Minecraft that creates a unique artistic aesthetic in a picturesque style. The main goal of this project is to provide players with pleasant visual improvements that do not interfere with gameplay and comfortable perception.
Key Features
A range of visual effects is harmoniously integrated into Minecraft gameplay:
- Realistic Light Processing: Dynamic shadows based on light map and adjustable lighting color tones
- Atmospheric Effects: Bloom effect for creating soft glow, ambient and border fog
- Dynamic Nature: Waving foliage and moving water surface
- Enhanced Textures: "Realistic" volumetric clouds and custom water with detailed normals, fog and optional reflections
- Color Grading: Basic color palette adjustment, including saturation and exposure
- Portable Light Sources: Lighting effect from items held in hand
Compatibility and System
Supported Versions: Currently tested versions range from 1.17 to the most current 1.21.1. Previous releases may work but do not receive official support.
Hardware: Modern graphics processors from Nvidia, AMD and Intel are fully supported on Windows and Linux platforms. Apple Mac devices show variable performance.
Loader Requirements: Using the newest version of Iris with support for custom uniforms is recommended. With Optifine, minor technical inconsistencies are possible, but core functionality is maintained.
