Dragonstone: The Dragonstone Castle
Immerse yourself in the captivating world of Westeros with this meticulously recreated version of Dragonstone - the legendary citadel of House Targaryen. This Minecraft map, built in 2013 as part of the WesterosCraft project, faithfully recreates the book version of the monumental castle on the volcanic island of Dragonmont.
Installation and Launch
To properly display the map, you'll need to install several additional components. The easiest way is to download the complete WesterosCraft modpack, or follow these steps:
Start by installing Minecraft Java Edition and the Forge framework for version 1.18.2. Create a new profile in the Minecraft launcher using Forge 1.18.2.
Download the required mods:
- WesterosBlocks
- ConnectedTexturesMod
- WesterosCTM
After downloading, place the mod files in your game's mods folder. Download the Dragonstone map file and move it to the saves folder.
Launch Minecraft through the created Forge profile, go to the single player section and select the Dragonstone map. Click "Play Selected World" to begin your exploration.
